The group has a sprawling pollution
free campus spread over 175 acres of land in the heart of
Village URJANI, Yamuna Nagar . The Group is located at 20
kms. from Yamuna Nagar
Location
The idea behind setting up these Institutions is that from
the time of freedom, i.e., 1947 till date there is not even
a single academic college/good public school in Tehsil Chhachhrauli.
The population of this area is more than 20lakhs.The students
of this area have to go to distant places for education. In
past, girls could not go in for higher education due o the lack
of nearby educational centres. But, this has become possible
now after our Institutions have opened. Vilage Urjani is situated
on N.H.73A.It is easily approachable by road. The location of
this village is such that it is situated on the border of three
states. Students from U.P.,H.P. & Uttaranchal can come hereto
get the education here as there are no good higher educational
Institutions in the vicinity. Being situated in the foothills
of Shivalik range, the area of village Urjani is pollution-free.
The greenery of this village is worth seeing. The one and only
forest land in Haryana is in Village Kalesar which is just 15
kms. from our campus. Government is going to develop this forest
land for adventure-sports, resorts, forests, safari to see wild
animals like lions, tigers, elephants and bears in their natural
habitat. There is a herbal garden of 185 acres in our periphery
which is unique natural n& a beautiful space developed by
the government in Haryana.
Workshop Block
The workshop block, which is really an architectural marvel,
has 1500 square meters of covered area. All the requisite shops,
as per the norms, for all the streams of engineering are available
and are equipped with modern equipment. The workshop block houses
Machine Shop, Welding Shop, Carpentry Shop, Fitting Shop, Foundry
Shop and Smithy Shop.
Student Centre
A state of the art Student Centre provides students with a
place to interact during off hours. It comprises of a spacious
Canteen, a Fruit Shop, a PCO and a Cyber Cafe.
Seminar Halls
The Institute boasts of well-designed and well-equipped air-conditioned
seminar halls. These seminar halls serve as a platform for conducting
various lectures/seminars of prominent personalities from industrial
as well as academic background. The seminar halls are equipped
with Multimedia LCD projector, high quality sound system, over
head projector, computer and internet access.
Sports Stadium
To provide better sports facilities to the players and seating
facility to the spectators to watch sports comfortably, the
foundation stone of a beautiful stadium has been laid recently
and the construction work is under progress.
Girls Hostels
Hostel accommodation is available for girl students in two
girls hostels with a capacity of 250 students each. Internet
facility has been provided to the girl students in the Cyber
ICafe within the Girls Hostels.
Computer Labs
Institute has well equipped computer labs with all new and
up-to date software and nearly 120 dual-core computers. All
the systems are interlinked with structured cabling and with
internet facilities provided through dedicated lease line.
Library
The Institute Library is an example of classification and
cataloguing practice. We have a very vast technical library
with about 13,000 books and nearly 15 journals coming every
month. It helps to add to the knowledge of staff and students
about the recent developments in various fields. This is the
only library in Haryana having open access system for the students.
