Shree Ram Institute
of Pharmacy |
In our day-to-day life, pharmacists play an important role,
as they are involved in research and manufacture of drugs. As
a pharmacist, students are supposed to be in a position to comprehend
the composition and effect of drugs. Thus, pharmacy is closely
associated with scientific study. Pharmacy as a career option
has always been in demand. India, being a huge nation of more
than a billion people, diseases both major and minor have
been a curse upon the weak and the poor. In the previous centuries
and almost till the middle of the 20th century killer diseases
such as acute respiratory infections, diarrhea, depression,
tuberculosis, measles, anemia, etc. have been affecting thousands
every year. With the advancements in medical science, most
of these diseases have been brought under control with the
help of powerful antibiotics and other life saving drugs.
The College offers a four-year program leading
to the degree of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.S.P.).
The program provides high quality, challenging education with
significantly structured clinical practice experience, increased
integration and application of study material with actual
practice throughout the course of study and delivered in
a way that actively involves students in the teaching-learning
process and develops in them self-directed habits for life-long
learning.
